Bloody demonstration

Yesterday Friday, during an opposition demonstration in the metropolitan area a protester was killed while another was seriously injured with a machete. Assad Volcy, spokesman of the party "Pitit Dessalines" declared "We were attacked by minions of power. Two men traveling in a police uniform on motorcycles, opened fire at close range and murdered one of our activists. You can kill one of our brothers, ten of our brothers, maybe a hundred, but never one will manage to kill the Haitian people [...]"

A maneuver of intimidation

Jean-Henry Céant (Renmen Ayiti) (6th position 39,005 votes - 2.50%), denounced the shooting against his notary office, on the night of 18 to 19 November 2015, the latter assimilate it to maneuver of intimidation.

The Senate condemns the attack on Steven Benoît

A beneficial commission for the Haitian people

Sauveur Pierre Etienne (OPL) (7th position 30,227 votes - 1.94%) affirmed that the determination of his 7 others colleagues, the G8, to force the CEP to establish an independent commission of verification of election results, which will just be benefit for the Haitian people.

Umpteenth demonstration

Jude Célestin (LAPEH) (2nd position 394,390 votes - 25.27%) said await the decision of the CEP (after processing of the challenge by the BCEN) to take a final decision together with his colleagues candidates, decision that should be in favor of democracy and the Haitian people.
