The Mambo Euvonie G. Auguste rejects the request of "Renmen Ayiti"

The Mambo Euvonie Georges Auguste recalled that "Renmen Ayiti is a platform composed of 6 political parties and I'm not a member of any of them. I do not recognize the request of Renmen Ayiti and I'm already involved in this Commission."

Revelation of Prime Minister on the Commission

Wednesday at a press conference at his residence, Prime Minister Paul Evans gave details about the Electoral Commission of Evaluation explaining that this Commission was created at the request of the candidate of LAPEH and not of Head of State, adding that the need for a Commission had been subjet of a consensus, following consultation carried out by the Presidential Commission among the various sectors involved or not in the electoral process. He said the choice of members of the Commission "was made from various consultations in society" and that these five persons "were chosen based on their commitment and also in relation to their availability to serve their country in a difficult context."

Regarding a certain controversy around the term "evaluation" ", the Head of Government said that it was not the Government that had decided of this term, but Jude Célestin, in a letter addressed to the CEP where he said "It is necessary there is an Evaluation Commission," as a condition to his maintenance in the electoral race.
