Haiti - Social : Evans Paul at the funeral of journalist Pharès Duverné

Saturday, Prime Minister Evans Paul left the country to Miami, to attend the funeral of journalist Pharès Duverné https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-16060-icihaiti-social-passing-away-of-journalist-phares-duverne.html passed away on the night 12 to 13 December 2015 in a hospital in the United States, following a disease he had courageously supported.

Saturday, the remains of our late colleague, Pharès Duverné was exposed from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bethel Baptist Church, located at 17601 NW 2nd Ave Miami Garden.

The funeral will be celebrated this Sunday, December 27 at 11:00 am in the Northside Adventist Church, located at 1769 NW 119th Street in North Miami.

Interment will be in "Dade Memorial Cemetery" on 135th Street. The family will receive friends after the burial at "Joe Celestin Community Center" located at 1525 NW 135th Street in North Miami.

"On behalf of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Michel Joseph Martelly, on behalf of the government and in his own name the Prime Minister Evans Paul expresses its sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the very regretted journalist Pharès Duverné," we read in a note from the Primature.

In the absence of the Prime Minister, the interim at the Primature will be ensured by Jude Hervé Day, the Minister of Trade and Industry.

That the soul of Pharès Duverné rest in peace.
