Stressing that "much destruction and casualties could have been avoided if those responsible for the State and the CEP had not demonstrated nonchalance, bad faith, disrespect for the Haitian people and blind submission to a fringe of the international." https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16398-haiti-flash-situation-of-violence-and-anarchy.html

The G8 invites the Haitian people to remain mobilized until the satisfaction of its main demands :

« 1) The resignation of the remainder of the CEP, and prosecution to commit against corrupt ;

2) The departure of President Michel Joseph Martelly and the establishment of an interim consensus government with main attributions the implementation of an Independent Commission of Inquiry composed of five members appointed by credible sectors in order to : deepen the assessment by the Independent Electoral Commission of Evaluation (CEEI) and purify the voting process by analyzing the partial electoral lists (LEP), counting sheets, records and complaints filed to determine the extent of irregularities and fraud; identify and recommend the exclusion of the process of beneficiaries of proven cases of fraud ; reevaluate the decisions of the BCEN and BCED and recommend to the provisional government of consensus all measures deemed useful and likely to restore confidence."

Concluding "The G8 does not intend to accept and will not accept any cosmetic solution concocted by the reactionary oligarchy, a section of the International, the Tèt-Kale power and traditional anti-democratic forces of the country [...] The G8 supports peaceful popular demonstrations organized throughout the country in order to force State officials to respect the verdict of the polls [...] G8 renews its commitment to do everything within the framework of the law, to respect the popular wil..."
