As part of the music contests "Nou tout sanble" launched by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) last 21 December https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16140-haiti-culture-the-minister-manigat-launches-a-music-contest.html , the jury has analyzed the 96 works submitted (52 were submitted on CD, 21 by WhatsApp and 23 were deposited on the competition website).

The evaluation criteria were considered: respect for the theme; the message content; the text aesthetics; the melody or "flow" and the interpretation of the song. Each criteria was scored on 20 points. The finalists being the groups who recorded the best score out of 100 points.

The evaluation was conducted in two stages :

• A screening step in which the less interesting works and those not meeting the contest rules were discarded ;

• A second hearing stage where for each work, a score was attributed to each of the criteria.

Note that the first 3 laureates will emerge from this list of finalists and will be announced during the closing ceremony of the contest, 19 February 2016.
