The new minister made a long plea for young people by placing them at the center of all activities likely to change the socio-economic conditions of the Nation. Taking the example of Cuba, a country under economic embargo for nearly 60 years, he stressed that despite its limited economic resources, Cuba has won several Olympic medals over the years "We have to invest heavily in youth," insisted the Minister Nazaire under the applause of his colleagues.

While evoking the haemorrhage of young people who go abroad, Abel Nazaire believes that it takes more than 667 million gourdes (0.5%) allocated in the law of finances 2015-2016. In the perspective of an amending budget, and following priority actions of his ministry for the period April-June 2016, the new Minister requesting urgently an additional 500 million gourdes to run the business of the Ministry safely...
