Haiti - Economy : The textile sector dialogue table, calls for calm

Let's recall that on March 27, 2014, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the private sector and workers operating in the textile sector in the presence of national and international observers in order to create a dialogue table where both parties in accordance and mutual tolerance can express themselves in compliance with national laws and international standards to the benefit of all.

Since the signing of this document, an Executive Secretariat, assures the monitoring and organizes monthly plenary meetings with representatives of employers and workers to discuss of different news theme relevant to the area (minimum wage, social protection and security, grant etc...)
