In a note, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informs the public in general that it received dated May 30, 2016, a Presidential Decree amending its mandate https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17587-haiti-flash-privert-makes-the-electoral-council-almost-permanent-by-interim.html Stating that "in the amended mandate, the CEP also has the responsibility to organize the elections of third of the Senate" (due January 2017).
