The Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, inform artists in particular and the public in general, that the pre-registration phase for the 8th edition of the Games Francophonie (category culture), to be held in Abidjan from 21 to 30 July 2017 is open.

Interested persons should go to the Ministry of Culture (Champ de Mars), to complete the registration form from 28 to 30 June 2016 at the Directorate of Artistic and Literary Creation.

List of categories open for competition :

• Hip-hop (dance) [m/f, 18-35 years] - 1 group of 2 to 5 people ;

• Painting (m/f, 18-35 years) - 1 competitor participant maximum ;

• Sculpture / Installation (m/f, 18-35 years) - 1 competitor participant maximum ;

• Chanson (m/f, 18-35 years) - 1 singer or one group of 8 people ;

• Stories and storytellers(m/f, 18-35 years) - 1 storyteller (possibly accompanied by a musician) ;

• Dance Creation (m/f, 18-35 years) - 1 group of 2 to 10 people maximum ;

• Literature (short story) (m/f, 18-35 years) – 1 competitor participant maximum ;

• Photography(m/f, 18-35 years) – 1 competitor participant maximum.
