The Festival Haiti en Folie, presented by the Fabienne Colas Foundation is proud to announce the complete program of its 10th edition, to be held from July 26 to 31, 2016 in Montreal, Lafontaine Park, to the Salle Marie-Gérin-Lajoie and in the Gamelin gardens in the Quartier des spectacles.

Five days of rich and varied programming, tinted of Haitian colors through workshops, music, theater, dance shows, 5-7 Rara procession through the streets of Montreal, craft fair, literature, gastronomy and more at outdoor and indoor activities.

Theater : "Pawòl Chouchoun"

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Festival Haiti en Folie and by popular demand the "Atelier Théâtre Éclosion" , based in Port-au-Prince, returned to Montreal with the spicier version and the most Caribbean of The Vagina Monologues. Having been translated into over 24 languages, performed in over 1,100 cities around the world, Montreal will once again the chance to see the piece in its Haitian version. Called "Pawòl Chouchoun" adapted and directed by Florence Jean Louis Dupuy that has already enjoyed phenomenal success in particular to Port-au-Prince, the US and on several occasions to the Haiti en Folie Festival in Montreal. Four actresses from Haiti (Fabienne Colimon, Cynthia Jean-Louis, Ange-Bellie Andou, Florence Jean-Louis Dupuy) will interpret popular texts of the author. Although this is a Haitian version, 70% of the dialogue is in French.

The public is invited to discover or rediscover this hot version of the Monologues.
