Haiti - Elections : «Zero tolerance, neutrality and absolute impartiality»

Friday, Camille Edouard Jr. Minister of Justice and Public Security, proceeded to the closing, of 2 days of training for the Commissioners of the Government of the 18 jurisdictions in the country.

The Minister asked the Commissioners to ensure respect of the principle of equal access to justice. "Zero tolerance, neutrality and absolute impartiality" that is the instructions of the Minister to the Commissioners at the end of this training, reminding them to keep their professionalism, remain accessible, to never fail in their responsibilities and deal expeditiously all complaints received during the electoral process.

Remember that this information and training session animated, by "Défenseur Plus" an organization of defense of human rights led by Anthonal Mortimé aimed to better informing judges in the protection of human rights and their multiple dimensions: civil and political rights, the right to self-determination of peoples, economic, social and cultural to ensure to all citizens, the full respect for human rights.

The Government Commissioners of the 18 jurisdictions, welcomed this initiative of the Ministry to strengthen their capacity on topics related to human rights and promised in particular to implement the instructions of the Minister, on the occasion of the upcoming elections.
