After an initial selection on casting (Jacmel, Cap Haitien, Les Cayes and Port-au-Prince) of 20 candidates https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18131-haiti-social-miss-haiti-the-20-selected.html then the selection of 12 finalists, made according to the criteria 6 from a combination of Facebook and Instagram votes plus a note attributed behind the scenes on the attitude, discipline, respect and good manners, and 6, which were selected after answering questions from members of the jury https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-18185-icihaiti-flash-list-of-12-finalists-miss-haiti-2016.html ; Saturday at the Royal Decameron Hotel, the 12 finalists : Sarah Charles, Kensley Derosier, Cassandre Joseph, Raquel Pélissier, Pierrier Canaelle Toussaint, Rose Armelle Williams, Marcella Beauvil, Rose Olga Bélizaire, Danourah Bien-Aimé, Edith Elbrena, Dorothy Jan and Suzana Sampeur, participated in the show Miss World 2016 Haiti where the new Queen and her 4 runners were elected.

At the end of the evening 7 finalists were eliminated, leaving room for the new Queen 2016 : Suzana Sampeur (Miss World Haiti 2016), Armelle Rose Williams (1st runner), Raquel Pélissier (2nd runner), Cassandre Joseph (3rd runner) and Danourah Bien-Aimé (4th runner).

The Committee thanked Seydina Allen, Miss World Haiti 2015, to have so well represented Haiti "We wish you success in all that you undertake."

Sampeur Suzana, 20, is a model and student in business management. Her hobbies include fashion, shopping, modeling, dancing, board games and cooking. Through her humanitarian project, Suzana wants to help the men and women of the third age and plans to mobilize the necessary human resources and invite them to unite to achieve her objective. Suzana recommends that young people keep their identity, their beliefs and fight for Haiti is better.
