Friday at the Hotel Maguana, San Juan de la Maguana, the Foundation "Ciencia y Arte, Inc." and the Chamber of Commerce of San Juan, organize a dinner meeting of bilateral business fraternity, in order to strengthen the links between the business community of the region of El Valle in the Dominican Republic and the Republic Haiti.

The main chambers of commerce of Haiti, San Juan and Elias Piña confirmed their presence. Will also be present a large delegation of leaders of the Foundation for the development of alternative tourism in Haiti and of Centre Point Haiti and representatives of the Haitian government.

In addition, the Dominican mayors of San Juan, Las Matas de Farfán, El Cercado, Juan Santiago, Hondo Valle, El Llano, Comendador, Bánica et Pedro Santana, of the provinces of San Juan and Elías Piña were invited. Were also invited ministers and governmental directors, especially the ministries and departments, which for years involved in the Fair Ecotourism and Production, organized by the Foundation since 1997.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CHIC), will be the guest of honor of this meeting dinner.

Among the subjects that will adress the businessmen of the two countries include :

The development of a strategy for the achievement of sustainable exchanges and mutual benefit between private companies of both countries, particularly those of the Centre of Haiti and El Valle region;

Supporting the participation of business groups at the 7th Binational Ecotourism Fair and production, to be held from December 3 to 11 in the Haitian town of Lascahobas;

Discuss the possible implementation of the "Binational Ecotourisme Road";

The realization of the trade fair organized by the Chamber of Commerce of San Juan.
