Haiti - Justice : The transferts of Government Commissioners continues

Near the next elections, the Ministry of Justice is in the process of adopting a set of administrative measures, according to him "to ensure and preserve the neutrality, professionalism and impartiality of the Government Commissioners near the Courts of First Instance of the various jurisdictions of the country."

It is in this context that according to the Ministry, that of Government Commissioners were transferred from one jurisdiction to another, particularly in Petit-Gôave, Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien.

The Ministry indicates that other administrative measures of this kind will follow "in the strict best interests of the nation and a better image of Justice"... Emphasizing that such administrative measures are part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen the neutrality of Justice particularly in the electoral period.

The Ministry reminds all Government Commissioners, the duty of discretion to which they are subject.

At the same time, the Ministry intentionally denounces the disinformation campaign deliberately undertaken by some, in order to guide public opinion in the direction of their particular interests.
