The Ministry of National Education announced that in the framework of bilateral cooperation with Brazil, the two governments signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen technical cooperation in the field of vocational training.

Training and qualification of technical personnel, project monitoring and evaluation, preparation of specific studies, detachment of experts, among others are in the activities planned under this agreement to be signed in Brazil on November 9, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Vocational Training, Jean David Geneste, Head of the Haitian delegation and Mervil Guillaumètre, the Director General of the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP). The President of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) of Brazil and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Programme of Brazil will be also present at the signing ceremony.

The Haitian delegation will take advantage of his stay to visit of vocational training Centres as well as the regional department of Industrial Apprenticeship Service (SENAI) of the State "Rio Grande do Sul."

Note that in the context of cooperation Brazil-Haiti, a reference Centre for vocational training will be implemented in Les Cayes.
