This is due to the anticipated reassignment of security forces from escorting humanitarian convoys to securing polling stations.

Appeal to women and young people

Monday on a radio of the capital Marie Frantz Joachim, the Secretary General of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), launched an appeal to women and young people to vote on Sunday. She recalled "Young people, who account for 65%, and women, 52%, are social categories, who can decide who will lead the country. Their lack of participation as well as a bad choice of their part in the elections of 20 November would be their responsibility."
