Thursday, Jude Célestin, the candidate for the presidency under the banner of the "Alternative League for the Progress and the Haitian Emancipation" (LAPEH), whose one of its representative to the CTV had already qualified the tabulation of "organized electoral theft" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19326-haiti-elections-towards-a-challenge-of-results.html , denounced a "flagrant violation" at CTV of the Electoral Decree.

"Presidential candidate Jude Célestin hastened to bring to the attention of the CEP, national and international observers of the electoral process of 20 November 2016, and especially the moral forces, media and journalists of the country, that LAPEH representatives at the Voting Tabulation Center (CTV) saw and noted that many minutes transmitted to the CTV were accepted and validated, whereas the correlative listings of 'émargement' do not have signatures or fingerprints of the voters, only able to guarantee the authenticity of the vote with reference to article 158.1 of the electoral decree.

If, in the next hours and before any proclamation of partial results, such a flagrant violation is not corrected, it risks to irreparably damage the integrity and reliability of the entire process.

Candidate Jude Célestin wants to believe and hope that there will be no resumption technically updated of the still painful misdeeds of the manipulated and directed elections of 2010 and October 2015.

In order for them to be correct and in conformity with the sincerity of the popular vote, elections must not be subjected to any manipulation or any gross form of violation of the law in general and the electoral decree in particular. Immediate corrections are required. In particular, the minutes must be submitted to the Voting Tabulation Center's (CTV) compliance control department, which is the only one authorized to review and validate them.
