Haiti - Politics : Appointment of Senators of the Bicameral Commission of Discharges

While several former ministers and senior state officials are demanding a discharge from their management and complaining that parliament has not done anything so far to respond to their demands, the Senate in plenary session (18 senators present on 20) in accordance with article 233 of the Constitution appointed on Wednesday the 6 senators, who will be part of the bicameral Commission of 15 members, to decide on the requests of discharges.

These are senators : Evalière Beauplan (PONT), Francenet Dénius (VERITE), Hervé Fourcand (PHTK), Joseph Lambert (PHTK), Nenel Cassy (LAVALAS) and Onondieu Louis (KID).*

The lower house has not yet appointed its members for this Commission.
