Tuesday, Robinson Chérilus, Director General of oting Tabulation Center (CTV) said at a midday briefing that 59.98% of the 38.755 Minutes (PV) had been received and 32.75% are already processed and that 56% of the 10,833 PVs for the complementary election of 8 senators, had already been processed, always keeping the date of 3 February for the presentation of the preliminary results for the Senators to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), which will make the announcement before the challenge period. For the opposition parties these statements, are unimportant according to them, the CEP and the CTV already have their list of names of winners.

Marie-Yolene Gilles, RNDDH's representative on the CTV, lamented the low presence of political party representatives at the Voting Tabulation Center.

Moreover, Robinson Chérilus recalled that in the framework of the transparency, the photographs of the PV processed are already available on the website of the CEP.

Robenson Chérilus indicated that the CTV did not change the methodology in the vote tabulation process, stating that the PVs were subject to several levels of control and that if a PV had obvious signs of irregularities, it undergoes a thorough quality control. He recalled once again that it was not the task of the CTV to go and check what had happened in the polling stations on polling day, a responsibility of the members of the polling stations who sign the minutes as sworn agents.

Last minute : Tuesday evening Chérilus confirmed that all the minutes concerning the election of the 8 senators had now arrived at the CTV.
