Haiti - FLASH : Final results 2nd round elections 1/3 Senate
The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), in accordance with Article 171.1 of the Electoral Decree of 2 March 2015, published this Thursday the final results of the second round of the 1/3 Senate elections of January 29, 2017, for 5 departments for which there was no challenge.

North West
Kedlaire Augustin (PHTK) 65.50% is elected
Francois Lucas Sainvil (MOSANOH) 32.28%
No candidates 2.23%

West
Patrice Dumont (Rassemblement des Patriotes Haïtiens - RPH) 57.40% is elected
Fednel Monchéry (PHTK) 40.13 %
No candidates 2.47%

Nippes
Denis Cadeau (Bouclier) 59.45% is elected
Louberson Vilson (Fanmi Lavalas) 39.44%
No candidates 1.11%

Grand Anse
Jean Rigaud Belizaire (Consortium) 52.83% is elected
Riche Andris (OPL) 45.92%
No candidates 1.25%

Artibonite
Garcia Delva (AAA) 53.85% is elected
Marc Antoine Aldorphe (Bouclier) 43.07%
No candidates 3.08%

The CEP informs that the preliminary results of the elections for the City Delegates of 29 January will also be available at the Electoral Operations Department, located at Route de Frères, in Petion-ville, at number 133, at the level of all Departmental Electoral Offices (BED) and Communal Electoral Offices (BEC). It should be noted that the Commune of Pestel did not have a candidate for the position of City Delegate.
