Haiti - NOTICE : National Carnival, Banks closed

As part of the 2017 National Carnival, which will take place in Les Cayes on February 26th, 27th and 28th, under the theme "N'ap Danse, N'ap Konstwi", the Professional Association of Banks (APB) reminds :

"The Professional Banking Association (APB) informs the public and the customers of the banks that the counters of the commercial, savings and housing banks will be closed on the whole territory on Monday, February 27, 2017.

For other days, the APB invites everyone to follow the official announcements and release relating to the Carnival festivities."

It should be noted that a decree published in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur" No°25 dated Wednesday, February 15, 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20116-haiti-flash-national-carnival-2017-public-holidays.html declars for public services, schools, trade and industry, public holiday and nonworking the days of :

- Monday, 27 February 2017, starting at noon;

- Tuesday, 28 February in its entirety;

- Wednesday, 1 March 2017 in its entirety.

Should be noted that on the same dates, the Carnival of Port-au-Prince will be held on the theme "An’n Fè Ayiti Reviv".
