The call for candidates for the 37th edition of the RFI Discovery Prize is open today to all professional artists or groups in Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean.

The laureate will benefit of a price of 10,000 euros, a tour of Africa and a concert in Paris.

Candidates have until June 30, 2017 to register.

IMPORTANT : All candidates must have a personal page on the Internet or on social networks with a minimum of four titles.

Since 1981, the RFI Discovery Prize has highlighted new musical talents. Its Jury, composed of professionals, is chaired each year by a personality who brings his caution and experience. RFI and its partners are committed actors to the winner and offer it professional support and media exposure. The Discovery Prize 2017 is organized in partnership with the French Institute, the International Organization of La Francophonie, Sacem, Deezer and Ubiznews.
