This Thursday, March 9th, at the Servotel Hotel (near Toussaint Louverture International Airport), two partnership agreements will be signed between the National Botanic Garden of Haiti (JBNH) and two major botanical gardens of world renown: Chenshan, Shanghai (China) and the Missouri Botanical Garden (USA).

These agreements between the Botanic Gardens will cover the following areas:

- Experience sharing ;

- Technical assistance and reception of teams;

- Joint resource mobilization;

- Inputs of equipment, equipment, seeds, software, etc...;

- Sharing of plants and seeds;

- Joint education, information and public awareness activities.

The Presidents of the Botanical Gardens concerned will sign these agreements at the end of an International Workshop for the training of executives for the JBNH. The implementation of this major structure of public education, conservation of biodiversity and promotion of sustainable development is the result of a partnership between the Ministries of Education, Environment, Agriculture and the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine, the State University of Haiti, the Haitian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO, the Ganthier City Council and the Board of Directors of the 2nd Section Communale Balan, commune of Ganthier.
