On Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in the evening, unknown persons, unidentified opened fire on a vehicle of the National Port Authority (APN), instantly killing its two occupants. An officer of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in uniform, Oxène Elvitus and his driver Louis Wilzer. The murder took place in front of the school frère Roc at the level of Martissant 17, neighborhood located in the South of the capital. The murderers have fled, carrying weapons that were in the vehicle of the victims.
