Haiti - Gold Cup 2017 : The FHF files a complaint against the Mexican referee

The surprising defeats and the elimination of the Grenadiers in Managua, in the final qualifying match against Nicaragua https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20498-haiti-gold-cup-2017-end-of-the-dream-the-grenadiers-eliminated-[3-0].html , qualifying match for the 2017 Gold Cup, is challenged by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) and the case is far from over.

Jean Bart, the President of the Federation points of the finger Jorge Isaac Rojas, the Mexican referee of the match that he accuses to be responsible for this elimination of Haiti for several arbitrary mistakes that he considers voluntary. The President of the FHF has filed a complaint against the Mexican arbitrator with the bodies of CONCACAF, stating that if this body does not follow up in this "flagrant injustice" he will take the case of Haiti to FIFA.

For him, there is no doubt that the referee did everything to counter the qualification of Haitians and favor his Spanish-speaking comrades, as he explained last week on a radio station of the capital ""There was no penalty. The third goal was out of play. The refereeing body allowed a Nicaraguan player having a combination of cards to play. According to the regulations, it was the duty of the referees to let the number of minutes played by the player on the field, play after the second yellow card. The goal of Lafrance was valid, but he canceled it. He awarded a red card to a Nicaraguan player who hit the ball in the middle of the field, but he did not give us the penalty. It's a hold up. We want to draw an example. We wrote to the Concacaf to demand an investigation on this match in order to take sanctions against the wrongdoers."
