Haiti - Religion : Easter, Message from the Chicago Consul

For the celebration of Easter, Lesly Condé the Consul General of Haiti in Chicago delivered a message, that we invite you to read in this Pascal Sunday :

Message from the Consul Lesly Condé :

"Dear compatriots,

This is a very important time of year for us Christians. This is a time of fervent prayers and serious soul searching. We have to meditate on the love of God for mankind. Indeed, despite our numerous flaws, God loves us so much that he accepted to let his son Jesus Christ suffer humiliation, physical pain and death in exchange for our salvation.

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the triumph of love. Easter invites us to love our fellow men and to forgive them since we also need forgiveness.

As for me, I thank you all for your faithful collaboration and, with all my heart, I wish you a Happy Easter.

Lesly Condé

General Consul"
