Haiti - Montreal : 4 young entrepreneurs represent Haiti

From April 25 to 30, in Montreal, 4 young Haitian entrepreneurs : Mélior Joseph, Abner Volsaint, Makendy Smith and Marc-Edwens Thélusma will represent Haiti at the Young Francophone Entrepreneurs Meeting, which will bring together more than 300 young entrepreneurs from more than 22 countries.

Organized jointly by the International Youth Offices of Quebec (LOJIQ), the Youth Secretariat (SAJ) and theYoung Montréal Chamber of Commerce (JCCM), this international meeting will allow young entrepreneurs participating in the Francophone space, including Haiti, to present their entrepreneurial projects to potential partners.

Mélior Joseph :

Mélior Joseph will represent the company "Chocomax" whose mission is to enhance Haitian cocoa through local processing. The company is known on the local market for its chocolate powder, cocoa butter and chocolate cream.

Makendy Smith :

Makendy Smith, is the co-founder, CEO and Creative Director of "Mak Pa Nou Création", a company specialized in the manufacture of sandals and accessories.

Abner Volsaint :

Abner Volsaint, represents "La Confiserie Soulouquoise" which produces and markets confectionary products of the Haitian culinary heritage, in particular: Dous Makos regular, Gratin-Makos, Festi-Makos and Makos-Diet.

Marc-Edwens Thélusma :

Marc-Edwens Thélusma working in the social entrepreneurship sector represent one hand the "Groupe Praxis d’Haïti" (GPH) which aims at transforming the social fabric for a better life in Haiti by promoting leadership and entrepreneurship among young people and also the Foyer "Lavi pou timoun yo" (LAPTY).
