In a corrigendum NOTICE dated June 28, 2017, Max Rudolph Saint-Albin, Minister of the Interior and Local Government (MITC), informs that :

"The Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MITC) advises foreign nationals who wish to visit Haiti from the following countries :

- Cuba;

- Dominican Republic ;

- Colombia;

- Panama.

are required to obtain a visa prior to arriving on the territory of Haiti.

However, if they hold an American, Canadian or Schengen visa, they can do without this formality.

Any person who contravenes this provision ill be liable to sanctions under the law governing the matter.

Note that the essential difference between this advice and the previous one is the withdrawal of this requirement for the nationals of China (Beijing).
