Haiti - FLASH : Significant traffic disruptions

Due to the partial withdrawal of many public works equipment and machinery used in the "Caravan of Change" in the Artibonite and their redeployment in the South of the country https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21378-haiti-great-south-a-caravan-of-change-of-35-billion-gdes.html , the Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security informs the general public that these displacements will cause disruptions in road traffic on Saturday 1 July in the following hours :

From 8:00 a.m to noon, on the section Gonaïves / Port-au-Prince

From 12:00 to 6:00 pm on the section Port-au-Prince / Carrefour Desruisseaux

From 6:00 p.m. to midnight on the section Carrefour Desruisscaux / 4 Chemins

Therefore, it is recommended to the road users and motorists to pay particular attention to the signs and follow instructions given by the police and agents located along the route and who will do their best to ease traffic with a focus on safety.
