Following an incident last Friday in the studios of Radio Television Caraïbes (RTVC) between journalist Guyler C. Delva responds to the accusations against him and grants 24 hours to Faranday Pierre-Louis to retract his lies and threat him of defamation.

Response of journalist Guyler C. Delva :

"I give 24 hours to Mr. Faranday Pierre-Louis to retract the defamatory, shameful and false statements he made against me. For the last few days, a 'young President of the Youth Government of Haiti', who is indeed just a vile liar, has never ceased to claim that he was slapped, and by who, by myself. This accusation is merely a cheeky lie, which certainly does not honor his infamous debtor, still less the youth he pretends to represent.

Mr. Pierre-Louis has therefore 24 hours to retract, if not a complaint will be filed to the Prosecutor this Wednesday in order to be sued for defamation.

There is no doubt that these false statements are part of an effort and a low logic aimed at the assassination of my character and my reputation.

I never slapped Mr. Pierre-Louis. I have given him absolutely nothing and witnesses are there to testify. It is disgusting that a young Haitian could so unworthily and shamelessly engage in such a campaign of lies and defamation.

I had kept up until then to react because thought Faranday Pierre-Louis and his acolytes could recover themselves by stopping to lie. Mr. Pierre-Louis can also summon me to court if he can prove that I have actually slapped him or if he is convinced of it. I would happily introduce myself if that were the case.

So 24 hours to retract your lies, Mr. Pierre-Louis"
