Haiti - Economy : The Ministry of Finance receives a delegation from the World Bank

Wednesday Jude Alix Patrick Salomon, Minister of the Economy and Finance, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Finance, Ronald G. Décembre and other senior officials of the Ministry, received in his office a delegation of the World Bank composed of three people.

The chief economist for Haiti at the World Bank, Raju Singh, who headed the delegation, took the opportunity to report on new provisions to help Haiti by its institution, notably in terms of education on the one hand and budget support on the other.

In addition, Minister Salomon and Mr. Singh gave an overview of the file relating to the modernization of Toussaint Louverture International Airport, among others.

It was agreed that a working session between the Ministry and the World Bank for a portfolio review would take place between the third week of October and the first week of November.
