Haiti - FLASH : Crime at the borders of horror in Petit-Goâve

Early Sunday, August 27, the inhabitants of Beatrice, a locality of the 11th communal section of Petit-Goâve, made a macabre discovery in a garden of pistachios, the lifeless body mutilated in his blood, of a young man of 35 years identified as Céquaire Vital. Different parts of the victim's body had been removed (tongue, heart, jaw, ribs...)

Informed of this horrible crime, Pierre Marckenson, the Coordinator of the Cartel Casec of the 11th communal section, immediately alerted the judicial and police authorities of the city. The police, the deputy of the Government Commissioner, Franck Bénêche and the Justice of the Peace, Léandre Jean Jude, went to the scene. After the legal finding, the corpse was transported to the morgue and an investigation was opened.

In the victim's purse, was found an electoral card, 7 gourdes, 1 pesos, a photo of a woman and a paper with the inscription "Mistè a di : fok ou pran prekosyon ak zanmi".
