Michel-Ange Gédéon stresses that the PNH "will not give in to the pressures from wherever they come and will never tolerate these outbursts of passions, which weaken the good climate of living together, favorable to investments in this country bruised by poverty and the incomprehension of his sons and daughters."

He also recalled that regardless of the conjuncture and motive of the demonstrations, the police will make sure that the Constitution and the laws of the Republic are respected. "Consequently, members of the police institution were instructed to strictly punish the perpetrators of disorder, in compliance with the law [...] The PNH will not yield to the pressures of the street. The perpetrators of banditry, vandalism and barbarism of all kinds will be arrested and brought to justice [...]"
