In his speech Rudy Hériveaux, the Director General of the Ministry has welcomed the arrival of the Minister and has drawn up a very poor picture of the situation in the Ministry...

Prime Minister Lafontant, introducing the Minister in her new duties, reminded Minister Auguste that the superior interests of the Nation remain the sole compass of the Government. Aware of the social problems of the population and imbued with the heavy task awaiting the Minister, Lafontant assured her of his support and that of the Head of State.

Minister Stéphanie Auguste, who continues to ensure by interim the charge of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) thanked the President and the Prime Minister Moïse Lafontant for their confidence.

Calling on organizations that depend on the MAST to the collaboration, declared "[...] the acceptance of this responsibility is a response to the call of duty" In honoring her civic obligations, she remains fully aware of the vastness and of the complexity of the task sees as a challenge, stressing that social problems are not an exclusive reality in Haiti, she assured that what is meant for the population will be attributed to it.

In order to ensure that her speech arrives at the ears of the population added in Creole "Jan w sot di l la PM, mwen konnen travay la p ap fasil. Men mwen ba w garanti m ap leve defi a. Batay kont kòripsyon Administrasyon Moïse/Lafontant ap mennen an, ap kontinye andedan Ministè Afè Sosyal. Sak pou pèp la, dwe al jwenn pèp la. Se mo dòd prezidan Repiblik la, e se li menm nap aplike isit la tou. Yon fason pou misyon ou ban m ranpli nan tèt ministè a kapab yon reyisit."
