Haiti - FLASH : National strike announced in the transport sector

Mehu Changeux, President of the Association of Haitian Owners and Drivers (APCH), launched a strike order at the national level, on Monday 18 September to force President Jovenel Moïse to renounce to the publication in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur" of the budget 2017-2018, ratified by both Houses of Parliament.

Several trade union platforms in the Transport sector have already confirmed their support for the call for strikes launched by the APCH.
