Haiti - Social : 600 community restaurants to feed the poor

As part of the "Ede pèp" social assistance program and its "fight against hunger" component initiated by the Martelly-Lamothe administration https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9420-haiti-social-tangible-benefits-of-social-assistance-program-ede-pep.html , program pursued by the Moise-Lafontant Government, several community restaurants were rehabilitated and others built.

Now, throughout the national territory, 600 community restaurants are available to meet the needs of the poorest people who can get a hot dish for only 10 gourdes.

These community restaurants, managed by city delegates, under the control of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), allow the poorest citizens to find a hot dish daily. These restaurants have also created hundreds of jobs across the country.
