Haiti - Chile : LAW announces the resumption of its flights, the DGAC cancels them

After the announcement of the temporary suspension of its flights https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-23733-haiti-flash-law-airline-temporarily-suspends-its-flights-haiti-chile.html Chilean airline Latin American Wings (LAW) announced Sunday, March 11 in a statement that it will resume and gradually regularize its flights to Caracas (Venezuela), Port-au-Prince (Haiti) and Miami from Friday, March 16 2018.

However, LAW had not finished with the problems, following its announcement, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Chile (DGAC) announced in a statement that it temporarily suspended the certificate of air operations from LAW.

The DGCA indicates that this suspension is due to the fact that LAW, after canceling all its flights and initiating a reorganization process, has announced new destinations in its routes that have not been submitted or approved by the inspection body of civil aviation. Clarifying that this suspension will be maintained until LAW is in compliance with the requirements permanently and continuously, to perform the flight operations it intends to perform.
