As part of the "Forum Jeunesse Debout", the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti, in order to raise awareness among schoolchildren and academics about civic engagement and citizenship, recently organized a series of conferences debates on the self-esteem and personal development for 400 young people from the Lycée Alexandre Pétion and Corridor Bastia around the themes "Siksè w depann de ou. E de ou menm sèl" and éFè sakrifis jodi Selebre demené".

During these activities, young people were made aware of the value of their personal and professional image by revealing their potential and their untapped strengths, while remaining faithful to their personality, a major asset for the participants.

In order to help them to highlight their skills acquired during their academic training or during their professional, associative and family experiences, Marc-Henry Jean, one of the lecturer (graduated in Business Administration at the "University of South Florida") asked the youth of Corridor Bastia to propose a community project before April 11, 2018. Which project he intends to support with his personal funds.

The participants greatly appreciated these exchanges and made the commitment to apply these advice in their daily lives.
