Haiti - Politic : The Minister of Justice interpellated, replaced by the Executive before his hearing

The Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies announced the interpellation of the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Heidi Fortuné, during a special session scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Settling of accounts within the judiciary and its dysfunction; the inability of the Minister to resolve the problem of prolonged pretrial detention; its failure in the fight against land insecurity and the violation of standards of appointment in the standing judiciary are the main reasons for this inquiry.
