Friday, the new Minister of Justice Jean Roudy Aly, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24208-haiti-politic-installation-of-the-new-minister-of-justice.html in office since 3 days, accompanied by, among others, its Director General Jean Claudy Pierre, Ministry officials and other immediate collaborators, held an important working session of several hours with the Government Commissioners of the 18 jurisdiction of the country around the operating situation of the various prosecution offices near the Courts of First Instance (TPI).

From the outset, Minister Aly emphasized the government's major justice priorities and called on the Commissioners to wage an unyielding fight against prolonged pre-trial detention and land insecurity.

The Chiefs of Public Prosecutions took note of the requests made by the Minister and took advantage of this meeting to present to the Minister their notebooks of complaints, according to the respective reality of their jurisdiction.

Aly took note of the various grievances and promised to work as quickly as possible to meet some of the needs expressed in order to work to strengthen the public prosecutor's office.
