Haiti - Security : Dragnet in Barrettes, 6 suspects arrested

On Thursday, accompanied by the Judge of Peace Substitute Me Delicio Vernévil, the Police of Vialet led to Barrettes, a locality of the first communal section of Petit-Goâve an operation during which 6 individuals (3 women and 3 men from Port to Prince) have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting and ransoming local people.

They are: Steeve Cupidon (17) aka "Carlot", John Cadet (22), Jordany Francois (27) aka "Nou la", Mrs. Lovelie Forest (20) aka "Dapapi", Mrs. Kerlande Cupid (22 years) aka "Kèkète" and Mideline Cupidon (20 years) aka "Mimithe" informed Me Delicio Vernevil, Justice of Peace Substitute of Vialet

"The operation lasted several hours. The apprehended men are unknown locally and are believed to have assaulted and ransomed local people. In addition, they are hosted by some women of Barrettes [...] That's why we also stop some women who are accomplices of the suspects, according to the information we obtained," declared to the microphone of Radio Préférence judge Vernevil, proud and satisfied to have succeeded this dragnet.
