Monday at a press briefing, ing. Hervé Pierre-Louis, Director General of the Electricity of Haiti (EDH) made a positive assessment of his actions at the head of this institution.

Regarding the functioning of the EDH, Hervé Pierre-Louis stressed that the company knew "a considerable increase in the recovery" stating that in the only department of the West, the EDH had collected 313 million gourdes in February 2018 against 276 million gourdes in February 2017. For the month of April 2018, the company has collected 443 million Gourdes receipts against 279 million for the same period in 2017.

He explained that these results "have been made possible thanks to the efforts of EDH teams who constantly encourage customers (large and small) to pay their bills on time or else they will be disconnected". Affirming that customers who refuse to pay their bills will soon be warned through a communication campaign.
