The Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), in partnership with the Lycée Alexandre Pétion, Haiti Development Initiative, Christians United for Haiti and Ervin Harvey World Wide Ministries (EHWWM), organized on May 17th a training in personal development, leadership and entrepreneurship for the benefit of 75 young students, professionals and academics.

For 24 hours, participants from several neighborhoods in the metropolitan area were provided with knowledge about self-achievement, the spirit of leadership and entrepreneurial skills to help change their lives and their communities. .

In his speech Dr. Ervin L. Harvey President of EHWWM, emphasized that these notions were important and indispensable to build themselves and beyond to produce positive effects in his social and professional environment considering that "Facing the new challenges of our world it is imperative that youth, beyond academic and university knowledge, be sufficiently equipped in terms of the knowledge that builds their integral being and prepare them to be a successful development actor."

For the Reverend Calherbe Monel President of Development Initiative and Christians United for Haiti from this training beneficiaries can increase, now, their self-confidence and develop a positive vision of the future.

In the opinion of Amos Cincir and Jacquelin Lirisemond respectively President and Project Director of the Lorquet Foundation, Personal Development, Leadership and Entrepreneurship are not integrated into the formal education system in Haiti, which is an insufficiency screaming in the training of men and leaders of today and tomorrow that represents the Haitian youth.

Listening to the beneficiaries, the training was rich in lessons on the laws of personal development and social success. At the end of the training, the participants each received a certificate.
