According to the latest report of "Nomad Passport Index 2018", which classifies the passports of 199 countries according to the offered travel possibilities that it can allow without constraint, the Haitian passport obtains a score of 53 out of 200 points (ex equao with the Republic of Central Africa) and ranks 160th globally in 199 countries.

Our Dominican neighbors are doing a little better with 62 points (120th). In the Latin America region, the Chilean passport takes the lead with 161 points and 32nd at the world level. The American passport is ranked 35th, the Canadian 13th and the French 12th.

The best passport in the world is Luxembourg 1st with 180 points and the worst in Nigeria with 46 points.

Recall that according to the ranking of passports around the world 2017 of the Arton Capital financial consulting firm, the Haitian passport allows to visit only 54 countries without a visa.
