Haiti - FLASH : Business Resilience Index, Haiti very poorly ranked

The breakdown of supply chains is one of the main causes of economic instability. The FM Global Resilience Index is a world-leading decision support tool and data repository that ranks 130 countries in terms of business resiliency. It is designed to help decision makers assess and manage the risks associated with their supply chain. This index is composed of nine supply chain risk vectors, grouped into three key resilience drivers: economy, quality of risk and supply chain. Ratings range from 0 to 100, with 0 being the lowest resilience and 100 being the highest resilience.

The economic index, which represents the political and macroeconomic influences on resistance, includes 4 factors: productivity, political risk, oil price and urbanization:

Haiti scores 4 out of 100 and ranks 127th out of 130 countries.

Dominican Republic scores 38.8 out of 100 and ranks 65th out of 130 countries

The risk index. measures the risk of commercial and industrial property, it includes 4 factors: exposure to natural risk, the quality of natural risk, the quality of danger and the risk of cyber attack:
