Haiti - Elections : Resumption of legislative elections in three constituencies

Gaillot Dorsinvil, President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informs in a press release the population in general, parties, groups and combinations of political parties in particular that the first round of parliamentary elections that had been disrupted on November 28, 2010 in the Constituencies of la Vallée de Jacmel, Fonds-Verettes / Ganthier, and Verrettes will be taken again on March 20th, 2011. The CEP, appeal to civility, the sense of discipline to all voter in order to avoid the repetition of the regrettable incidents recorded in the first round and reiterates its determination to complete the electoral process.
