Haiti - Russia 2018 : 4 young Haitians will realize their dream

Jean Denis, Cynthia and Michelet from the Bas Canaan Community School of the Faith and Joy Haiti Network, accompanied by Mikelida, from the Divina Providencia School, are the four young leaders who will mark the history of Haiti by representing Haiti in Russia , during the 2018 edition of the FIFA Foundation Festival (formerly Festival Football for Hope), which runs from June 25 to July 3 in conjunction with the 2018 Russia Football World Cup (June 14 to July 15, 2018).

During the event, which will take place from June 25 to July 3, the 4 youngsters (2 girls and 2 boys), a social sports teacher Noel Monès and a Chilean head of the Haitian delegation, will participate in multiple inter-cultural activities and sports will mix and share with young people from around the world.

A few years ago, Mikelida, Michel, Cynthia Joseph, Michelet Laurent and Jean did not imagine the importance that "Fútbol Más" could have in their life. Today, their dream to take a piece of Haiti to the four corners of the world is realized.

Mikelida Michel :

Mikelida (16 years old) lives in Bon Repos and the word that characterizes her is joy. Mikelida is a teenager who studies at Divine Providence School and dreams of sharing her ideas while respecting diversity of opinion. What she expects from this trip: "To be able to teach others what I know and to be able to receive what they know".

Cynthia Joseph :

Cynthia (15), lives in Canaan and the word that characterizes her best is happiness. Cynthia is a young student who studies at the Lower Canaan Community School and dreams of meeting other people and sharing their ideals. What she expects from this trip is to share the culture of her country and make new friends to share their dreams and joys.

Michelet Laurent :

Michelt (16), lives in Canaan and is characterized by fidelity to his dreams. Michelet studies at the Community School of Bas Canaan. He dreams of meeting new people and exchanging knowledge. "I want to know new people, to share with them our knowledge without our country of origin matter".

Jean Denis Anderson :

Jean (15 years old), lives in Canaan and the word that characterizes him the best is sincerity. Denis is studying at the Lower Canaan Community School and dreams of sharing with others in joy. "Being able to work in teams with people with different cultures and dreams motivates me to be happy and respectful of differences."
