Haiti - Elections : They will not support a candidate

Charles Henry Baker, Jean Henry Ceant, Jacques Edouard Alexis and Yves Cristalin, have declared they will not support a candidate involved in the second round, nor publicly or privately. These four losing candidates, members of the Group of 12, still demanding the cancellation of the election on November 28.

Jean Henry Céant, ensures that the candidates are together and support all actions aiming to demand the cancellation of the first round.

Yves Cristalin stated that his party retains its original position "to know the pure and simple cancellation of the electoral shame of November 28" and that he not support any candidate involved.

Charles Henry Baker, for whom the two candidates in the second round, "are candidates nominated by the international community" considers this election as "unacceptable" and will not support the three candidates for the duputation, within his party.

Jacques Edouard Alexis for his part, believes that "the cancellation of the elections of November 28 is the only viable option" while admitting that some personalities of his party can take a position for one or other of the candidates.
