Haiti - Social : Message of sympathy from ENARTS

The Board of Directors of the National School of Arts (ENARTS) mourns the departure of its Project Director, Professor Jean Rodolphe Doirin, who died on the night of July 18th to 19th at a Hospital in Port-au-Prince following a malaise, "[...] a colleague, a teacher, a brother and friend moreover an advisor for all those who rubbed shoulders with him. Member of the Board of Directors of ENARTS since 2004, Doirin, as we liked to call him was known for his way of combining rigor with joviality and always listening to each other. He always took life on the right side and positively. Man of pen and field, Doirin worked before this tragic departure on several projects within the framework of the restructuring of the ENARTS.

[...] With this departure, it is not only the ENARTS that has lost a man but the country in general which will take time to have a citizen of this ilk [...] In this sad circumstance the Direction General and the whole ENARTS community express their sympathies to the family of Jean Rodolphe Dorin, his wife, his children, his work colleagues, his students, his friends, his brothers and sisters and to all those who have worked with him and whose memory will never fade away.

One evening a star is gone, leaving in its wake a light that will not go out anytime soon. Doirin, your Council friends will never forget you and will not stop working to modernize the Institution for the benefit of our students. You will always be present in our hearts, in our words and our actions, our laughs and our smiles, our discussions and our silences, our anger and our joys.

'Nou pa bl yew et nou Pa p janm bliyew !' Rest in Peace dear Brother !"
