Haiti - Elections : Where to vote ? Call Center, 40 operators 24/24

Facilitate the localisation, for the voters of their polling station, is the vocation of the call center set up by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) with the contribution of the national and international partners.

This center, equipped with 60 computers, 60 phones and one server is operational since February 21, 2011 and operates through two teams of 40 operators who take turns 24/24 to provide the service to the population. The functioning of the center is a replica of the application "Ki kote m ap vote?" available to voters on the website of the CEP to facilitate the search of their voting center. The computers of the center were purchased by the CEP and wages of the operators and telephone charges are supported by USAID.

To find the location of their polling station, voters have at their disposition four four-digit numbers: 2828 / 2829 / 2830 / 2831

The electoral law has amended the provisions of the decree 2005 which provided one voting center by communal section, it now requires, of CEP, the establishment of at least two voting centers by communal section. Which has doubled the number of voting centers, from 780 to 1500, at the time of the elections of November 28, 2010. The call center capacity, insufficient at the first round, was doubled to effectively respond to second round and meet the recommendations.
